The time is 3.30pm after Song Cha, with another 20km to go mostly downhill, I can still make it to Pak Mong to stay in guest house if I wanted. But a number of good campsites tempted me to camp, afterall I already have the camp foods prepared " Ya why not ! ", You know-lah I like wild camping. It had been a day of climbing with my speed down to a low of 9.3 , but fortunately the gradient is not too steep, in fact I enjoy the gradual climb and not feeling tired at end of day. The weather is cooling under the canopy of thick tropical rainforest, cloudy but no rain. With the tent setup, my home cooked dinner tonight is : white rice ( bored with the Lao sticky rice ), a can of black bean fish ( dao shi yu ) and only 1 egg.
